In terms of mechanics, the title resembles the Yakuza series, combining elements of action and adventure games. The main character is Harumichi Bouya, who has just been transferred to Suzuran High School, which doesn't have a good reputation. The plot of Crows: Burning Edge recreates events known from the manga, animations and Crows Zero movie rather faithfully. The title was developed by Bandai Namco Games studio on the occasion of the franchise's 25th anniversary.
